POLITICAL WEB-SITES WORTH A LOOK
Inclusion here doesn't necessarily mean agreement, but does mean these sites are worth a look. Given the number of sites, we'll not drown you with reference to non-internet sources here: where relevant, they are scattered around the 'Last Century Left & Beyond' section of this site.
http://www.iwca.info/ :public face of the 'Independent Working Class Association'. To be fair, more interesting than it sounds. The IWCA are direct successors to Red Action, who were 'in charge' of Anti-Fascist Action towards the end of its political life. As such, the IWCA have both a healthy scepticism towards the 'Last Century Left' (not that they use the phrase) & a good understanding from an anti-fascist perspective of just why some working class people vote for the BNP. The IWCA don't like political correctness much, either....
http://another-green-world.blogspot.com/2010/11/derek-wall-understanding-green-party.html Who says nice guys always finish last? Derek has been fighting the good fight in the Ecology (and now Green) Party for the best part of three decades. Relentlessly optimistic, and open-minded, this site showcases his views and books, all worth a look. Those who favour an armed struggle/primarily confrontational approach might find him a touch naive, but his light definitely complements the darker approach usually taken by NFB. Wall's approach to the Last Century Left can best be described as ecumenical--what a pity some other Left Greens are imitative.
